Rapper, Kanye West, now officially known as Ye beat established Gospel Singers like Kirk Franklin, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Maverick City Music and Koryn Hawthorne to win the Favourite Gospel Artist at the just-closed American Music Awards.
The occasion occurred in Los Angeles on Sunday.
